Humans of Gestalt is an invitation into an evolving co-creation, a unique , open-source project driven by the curiosity to explore the diversity and complexity of Gestalt across cultures, languages, and lived experiences. 

Hosted by a team of volunteer interviewers in 15 languages, coordinated by Heather Anne Keyes, and featuring the voices of hundreds of individuals from diverse backgrounds—students, therapists, educators, facilitators, creatives, and practitioners. Humans offers profound insights into healing and personal growth processes, as well as documenting authentic laughter, smiles, spontaneity and human connection in every interview.  Through their narratives, our guests de-mystify their own processes of being in relationship and in life and speak to the transformative potential of dialogue, connection, and Gestalt.

Humans does not operate for financial gain though we accept donations to help offset operating costs.  The project has grown entirely through organic collaboration over its 5 year existence.

A living archive, Humans of Gestalt records the evolving practice of Gestalt therapy in the 21st century, documenting how this approach has grown historically and how it is adapting to contemporary challenges in real-time.  As a database, Humans is an educational resource for researchers, students, and professionals in related fields. The real-life stories and case studies provide practical insights into applied Gestalt principles, making its complex theories accessible and relatable.
