October 5, 2024 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Tarver, M.A., ADHD/Autism Coach with a Gestalt Lens (Autistic-led Workshop)

In a world built for the neuro-majority, neurodivergent individuals often face overwhelming sensory input, anxiety, and societal pressures. This workshop will equip participants with practical tools to navigate these challenges using a blend of mindfulness and Gestalt phenomenology.

Participants will learn:

– The fundamentals of a mindfulness practice developed by Shinzen Young and adapted by Tarver specifically for Autistic and ADHD individuals

– How to integrate Gestalt and mindfulness to manage overwhelm

– Techniques to thrive in a capitalistic, production-oriented world that often feels like too fast and too much

This workshop offers a compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming space for learning how to reconnect with the present moment and reduce the impact of sensory and emotional overload.
